THE WORLDPEACE CREED
I believe in the all encompassing, incomprehensible, indescribable Essence
which I refer to as The Infinite Potential (God).
I acknowledge my oneness with this Essence in that I am a manifestation of
It.
I understand that everything is in a constant state of change which I cannot
stop or significantly control; and that the Infinite Potential constantly
manifests and disintegrates not only the most common of objects but also
entire universes, realities and dimensions.
I relate Infinite change to water which is sometimes steam and sometimes
ice but always water.
I understand that I am at one with the earth in that I am a manifestation of the
earth and consequently without the earth I have no food, no water, no air
with which to sustain my physical existence. I will therefore, in all ways,
maintain the purity of the earth.
I acknowledge that I am a human being and physically separate but
spiritually connected to the entire human race. That as the removal of one
atom from a golden sphere decreases its weight and the addition of one
atom increases its weight, so is my relationship to all of humanity. When I
embrace something, its presence increases within humanity and when I
release something, its presence decreases within humanity. I therefore, vow
that I will increase the peace and harmony of the whole of humanity by
striving to live in peace and harmony and I will strive to decrease the
confusion within humanity by reducing the confusion within myself.
The foundation of peace and harmony within society is treating others the
way I expect to be treated.
The source of confusion in this reality is attachment, desire, ego, and spiritual
judgment of others.
I acknowledge that in order to manifest WorldPeace, I must include within
my vision of WorldPeace a place of equality for all races, all religions, all
nationalities and both sexes because I acknowledge that the nature of the
Infinite Potential in general and this reality in specific is diversity such that there will
never be one race, one religion, one nation or one sex.
I acknowledge that the foundation of peace and harmony is staying centered
in the oneness of the Infinite Potential and the oneness of this reality and that when I
become confused in distinguishing this oneness into parts, I begin to lose my
centeredness and begin to become confused in the manifestations of the
Infinite Potential and the manifestation of this reality and consequently sacrifice my
personal peace and harmony as well reducing the overall peace and harmony of
the human race.
I acknowledge that the social law applies to my mortal, finite, physical self
and that the social law is the foundation of social peace and harmony. I
acknowledge that my true nature is an infinite, immortal spirit which is
presently integrated into my finite, mortal, physical body.
I acknowledge that peace and harmony in society is dependent upon my
remaining centered in the social law and my spiritual peace and harmony is
dependent on my remaining centered in the oneness of the Infinite Potential.
I understand that the social law is sometimes in harmony with the spiritual
reality and sometimes out of harmony. An extreme example of this from
the past is slavery; socially legal, spiritually immoral.
I understand that the nature of society is change and that the social law will
change over time in anticipation of creating a more peaceful and
harmonious society. I can be a catalyst for this change as long as I do not
embrace violence as the primary method of manifesting social change.
I acknowledge that my physical body is subject to social judgment and
punishment if I break the social law but that my infinite, immortal spirit is
not.
I acknowledge that the only spiritual punishment that exists is the anxiety
that I experience when I am no longer centered in the oneness of the
Infinite Potential (God).
I understand, that in this physical reality, there is by definition good and
bad, righteousness and evil. However, I acknowledge that these words have been
a bottomless reservoir for spiritual judgment in society and as such have manifested
and continue to manifest hatred, prejudice and war in society. I hereby refuse
to use these words and substitute instead peace and harmony for good and
righteousness and confusion for bad and evil.
I acknowledge that there is only one Infinite Poetential (God) but many religions.
I acknowledge that there is no greater confusion in the world society than
justifying the killing of another human being in the name of God.
I acknowledge that every human being, including myself, is at one with the
Infinite Potential (God) and that there is no where I can go and nothing I can
do that will separate me from God.
I may break the social law and consequently be socially judged and
punished and I may forget or ignore my oneness with God and
consequently experience the anxiety of being confused but some level of
anxiety is the only repercussion of my confusion that I will experience in any
reality or dimension. There is no infinite punishment imposed by the Infinite
Potential (God).
All light contains darkness and all darkness contains light. I am infinite and
so I am all the light that exists as well as all the darkness that exists and
when I am not centered in the Infinite Oneness, I become confused in one or
the other; but over time the nature of the Infinite Potential is balance ;
all darkness eventually moves toward the light and all light eventually moves
toward darkness.
There is a place of perfect balance, perfect peace and harmony, wherein
the absence of light it is not dark and wherein the absence of darkness is
not light.
The nature of the Infinite Potential is change and I vacillate over time as I
experience change; always attempting to exist in peace and harmony by
remaining centered in the oneness of the Infinite.
I hereby release all my spiritual fears because I am at one with God; and as
God has provided for me in this reality, I will be provided for in all
realities.
I hereby release all my spiritual guilt because God is infinitely tolerant and
loving and completely understands that I am truly doing the best I can.
I release my ego (self centeredness) in order to experience peace and
harmony.
I acknowledge that I occupy a certain level of social status within society
but that this status is only temporary and that physical death will erase it.
In physical death, I am no more or no less than any other human being who
ever was, is, or will be.
I acknowledge that death is no more than changing realities and/or
dimensions and is not to be feared because it is the nature of all things that
manifest out of the Infinite Potential.
I acknowledge that no matter in which reality I consciously reside, that
reality or dimension is temporary and that it will end in some kind of death.
I acknowledge that my spirit is infinite and immortal, as are all others; that
my infinite, immortal spirit can never die because it was never born. This
is the Great Mystery that I embrace. And within this Great Mystery, I am
no more or less than any other infinite, immortal manifestation of the
Infinite Potential generally referred to as God.
Lastly, I understand that as I become centered in the oneness of the
Infinite Potential, all of creation moves toward peace and harmony and
when I become confused in the manifestations of the Infinite Potential,
all of creation moves toward chaos and disharmony.
In all of this, I believe. Within all of this, I reside.
